Zuriel Oduwole Steals The Show at Africas Biggest Movie Awards Night - 2014 Nollywood Movies Awards
It was billed as the Centenary Celebrations edition of the 2014 Nollywood Movies Awards night at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Island - Lagos last Saturday. The actors, producers, directors, and movie faithful filed past the "Red Carpet" into the events main auditorium. However, the star attraction right from the Red Carpet was a new face to Nigeria's movie making industry.

Zuriel Oduwole, at 12 years old was a fresh, young, bright, and eloquent attraction, from the moment she arrived early for the Red Carpet. A Special guest of the events organizers in recognition of her award winning documentary work in 2013 on the 1963 OAU Formation, and her current documentary in production this year, she dazzled the cameras, wowed the anchors, and the whispers grew among the crowd with the recurring question "Who is that Girl". She was invited by many TV networks to speak to their audience, and inspire the children who would watch the feed.

Award night host 'Denrele' was quick to add that he was a big fan of Zuriel, having heard her on the TITI radio show a couple of days earlier, talking about her current work with children on basic hand hygiene. Half way into the Award show, she was invited on stage to give her version of the event, and introduce the MC of the night in her own words.

Zuriel is currently finishing her third documentary due at the end of 2014, and it focuses on a brighter Africa, starting with Nigeria, as part of her "Rebranding Africa" initiative.
