Objectives:

The main objectives are to make sure all users of ICT systems of the bank are readily supported and the bank ICT services are highly available for both internal users / customers of the bank.

This position is responsible for assisting users with technical and operational issues through system support and administration by sourcing appropriate solutions or liaising with specialized ICT sections and personnel to fix relevant problems. In this position, the staff will also be l responsible for ensuring the adequate backup, security and disaster recovery procedures are adhered. Hence Good analytical skills are 1 essential in order to troubleshoot technical problems users are experiencing. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Duties:

1. To run and manage help desk.

2. Provide first line support to end users of alilCT systems in the bank either over the phone Internet or in person, and solve their computing problems in a timely manner.

3. Make sure all requests are entered correctly into Helpdesk system and there is appropriate escalation and follow-up of system's malfunction to the relevant section and personal within ICT for 2nd & 3rd line support as necessary.

4. To monitor ICT systems & equipments for errors or stoppages and take remedial action.

5. Make sure users are continually kept informed of the noted ICT services failures and progress in their reported issues.

6. Undertake back-up and recovery activities.

7. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

8. Document and review processes and procedures.

9. To promote office automation.

10. To backup and load all databases and transaction logs

11. To participate in alternating way in nightly processing of the core banking system, Equinox.

12. Any other jab as may be assigned to you from time to time.

Qualifications:

1. At minimum, a first degree or Advanced Diploma within Computer Science. Information Technology, Telecommunication or a related field of study.

2. Minimum of 3 years in ICT fields of which 2-Years experience is users support.

3. Demonstrate ability and experience to develop and defend technical recommendations

4. Highly developed communication and planning skills.

Job Summary:

Job Summary:

A Supervisor is one of the front line Managers in the Bank Branch His/her efficiency and courtesy often reflects the Bank's Standard of Service. He/she has to ensure that both front and back office operations are performed fast, accurately and friendly. He/she has to ensure that strong team-work spirit is highly achieved and maintained in his/her area of operation/department.

Duties:

(i) To arrange, direct and coordinate all counter activities while ensuring quality service to customers.

(ii) To check teller's daily cash balancing and to be a joint custodian to the teller's cash box and as well conducting snap checks as may be directed by the Manager.

(iii) To prepare periodical returns, monthly bank reconciliation statements timely and accurately and clear suspended items and submit to Branch Management for signature.

(iv) Supervise the opening of new customer accounts and to administer photo-fixing in new customer passbooks (for manual operations) or ID cards (for computerized operations)

(v) To supervise and pursue all customer queries over the counter while ensuring customers' service satisfaction.

(vi) He/she serves as a joint custodian of cash, security documents, assets and records for the Branch and bank accounts

(vii) To check and Authorize payments both front and back office under his/her department as per laid down instructions (viii) To ensure that all revenues due to the bank is correctly calculated and collected.

(ix) Checking daily postings in branch books of accounts and customers accounts and balancing of the days work pertinent to his/her department/ROU.

(x) Scrutinize and verify customer pass-books, signatures, deposit and withdrawal forms for genuiness and correctness before authorizing and posting new transactions .

(xi) Any other duties that may be assigned to him/her by his/her supervisors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree /Advanced Diploma in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or Accounting from any recognized University or equivalent qualification.
