Territory Manager - Institutional
Overall responsibility
• Promoting and marketing of Ecolab's products, achievement of set targets, ensure quality service to customers and equipment maintenance within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
• Contribute to identifying potential new customers and generate new business according to key prospect list in line with 4 P guidelines
• Introduce new lines to existing customers (circle the customers, install and implement mechanical systems.
• Service the mechanical systems as per schedule at minimum cost.
Merchandise the institutional sales and service solutions and ensure that a monthly report is done according to the laid down procedures.
• Ensure use of all company policies & procedures (e.g code of conduct, BPCM
• Provide active and reactive service to existing customers based on route system in agreement with superior
• Train employees and decision makers on customer side on technical aspects and ensure that training registers are well maintained.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure product availability and delivery in Ifne with Ecolab's procedures.
• Co-ordinate co-operation with Ecolab distributors
• Planning, preparation and implementation of pro-ire-active service to customers (installation, start-up, repair, maintenance, de-installation of all machines.)
• Plan and establish sales and service activities (60 days horizon)
Reguirements
• University degree in marketing, administration or sales.
• Minimum 2 years experience in sale of chemical/detergents in the hotel industry
• Ability to achieve and exceed targets.
• Computer skills
• English language skills
• Proven track record of good sales, customer generation and retention.
• Valid driving licence
• Basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing aptitude.
Personal Attributes
• People management skills '
• Warm outgoing personality with exceptionally good interpersonal skills
• Mature character and able to work with minimum supervision.
