Contract type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months - based in Paris.

Key Accountabilities:
 
Reporting to the Regional Mobility Manager, the incumbent will:
  • Work closely with the outsourced relocation services provider, and other vendors, to support the end-to-end assignment process and ensure seamless delivery of Global Mobility services in the region.
  • Engage with key stakeholders within the Business and HR to drive the effective deployment of Global Mobility policies and practices in the region.
  • Ensure that assignments are administered in compliance with local tax, immigration and other applicable legislations.
  • Provide first level support in managing policy exception requests.
Work closely with the Mobility Administrators to ensure appropriate planning and execution of:
 
                           Payroll actions and SAP data maintenance
                           Invoice management and internal cost re-distribution
                           Tax Equalisation reimbursement/payment process
                           Immigration tracking
  • Support  various annual HR programs and processes (e.g. annual salary review; allowance updates; tax updates; tax year end processes).
  • Provide support to the Regional Mobility Manager on project related work.
  • Contribute as required to support business expansion, new country entry and other business initiatives.
  • Maintain and strengthen the relationship with the outsourced relocation services provider and other vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Global Mobility teams in other regions.
  • Make ongoing recommendations to support continuous improvement to Global Mobility processes, to drive efficient service delivery.

 
Education/Qualifications:
  • Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration or Business
  • GMS, CIPD preferred
Skills/Experience:
  • Experience delivering in-house Global Mobility services, for a large expatriate population, in a matrix organization.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with an outsourced global mobility service delivery model is desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of Remuneration, Benefits, Expatriate Payroll, Balance Sheets and Expatriate Tax.
  • Knowledge of immigration legislation and ability to advise on the implications of these to ensure compliance.
  • Broad knowledge of industry standards in order to make best practice recommendations.
  • Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Ability to influence peers and other stakeholders.
  • Results-orientated with a pragmatic outlook. 
  • Fluency in French and English (both verbal and written).
This position is based in Paris (local contract).
