COMMUNICATIONS AND AWARENESS SPECIALIST - National Center for State Courts (NCSC) , Uganda


 NCSC is a unique non-profit organization providing technical assistance, training, and technology to advance justice in the 50 U.S. states and around the world. Founded 40 years ago by the leadership of the U.S. courts to deliver on the promise of "Equal Justice Under Law," today, NCSC enhances justice systems, empowers communities, and engages citizens to enable equal access to justice for all.
The National Center for State Courts (NCSC) is seeking qualified Ugandan citizens to fill the below positions for the "Supporting Access to Justice, Fostering Equity & Peace" (SAFE Program) funded by USAID.
POSITION: COMMUNICATIONS AND AWARENESS SPECIALIST
Position Summary: The Communications Specialist is responsible for writing/editing and designing project reports and brochures, and for creating and/or acquiring content for the project website, newsletters and other project materials

Requirement:

  • Knowledge of Public Relations/Communications and/or Journalism, (Print & Web)
  • Knowledge of File Storage & Transfer Protocol (FTP), TELNET, HTML, JavaScript.
  • University degree required.
  • Graphic design capabilities and software know-how a plus.
SALARIES: Salaries will be commensurate with experience.
