CIVIL SOCIETY SPECIALIST - National Center for State Courts (NCSC) , Uganda

NCSC is a unique non-profit organization providing technical assistance, training, and technology to advance justice in the 50 U.S. states and around the world. Founded 40 years ago by the leadership of the U.S. courts to deliver on the promise of "Equal Justice Under Law," today, NCSC enhances justice systems, empowers communities, and engages citizens to enable equal access to justice for all.
The National Center for State Courts (NCSC) is seeking qualified Ugandan citizens to fill the below positions for the "Supporting Access to Justice, Fostering Equity & Peace" (SAFE Program) funded by USAID.
POSITION: CIVIL SOCIETY SPECIALIST
Position Summary: The Civil Society Specialist will be responsible for supporting a group of civil society organizations by facilitating technical assistance and training activities and readying them to receive grants issued by the Uganda SAFE Project.

Requirement:

Competitive Candidates must have:
  • Experience in managing and implementing capacity building activities for CSOs.
  • 3-5 years of experience in development, consulting, capacity building or related field Experience in implementing USAID-funded projects is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • University degree required.
