Business Enabling Environment Specialists : Sub-Saharan Africa, East Africa

Objective of the role:
We are seeking applications from highly experienced Business Enabling Environment Specialists. You will exemplify strong project management and team building skills and will have worked on the design, management or implementation of donor funded programmes, particularly DFID.  Specific areas of practical technical expertise include:
  • Customs Policy/Administration
  • Tax Policy/Administration
  • Land Policy/Administration
  • Evidence-based policy development
  • Public private Dialogue
  • Legal Reform
  • Regulatory Reform
  • Gender and Investment Climate
Candidates will have proven capabilities of implementing approaches for donor programmes in these technical areas.
Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa is essential and particular track record in East Africa is preferable.
We are also seeking individuals with proven experience working as the Team Leader/Programme Manager for development programmes.
