| Job Description | Description of the Job DIRECT HIRE EMPLOYMENT,Salary Range :-Negotiable. Description of the Job :- Provides a specialist technical advice and consultancy service to Asset Units/Technical Division engineers in corrosion engineering include: corrosion treatment, prevention and upgrading. Develops the company's corrosion standards, specifications and code of practice. Principal Accountabilities: .Directs the Company's Design Draught men�s activities during the preparation of deign works for maintenance of corroded plants, equipment, installation and structures. Directs the activities of consultants/contractors personnel involved in corrosion activities, include; investigating materials failures treatment and prevention. .Participate in the preparation of the annual capital and revenue budgets. Evaluates technically consultants/suppliers offers/suppliers offers/proposals for product and equipment assesses performance and verifies/checks bills/invoices prior to endorsement/approval by supervisor(s) .Conducts studies/surveys on corrosion matters/problems, materials failures, cathode protection, corrosion inhibitors,....etc. reported by Asset Units/Technical Division Job Officers, investigates/analyses, through site-visits causes and recommends to supervisor appropriate/cost-effective remedial/corrective actions prior to reverting to job officers. Attends technical meetings and inspects the conditions of plants, equipment, installations and structures, such as platforms, such as platforms well-head towers, pipe works, tanks ....etc. during overhauls and provides specialist technical advice on implementation of corrosion control measures. .Keep abreast with new development in corrosion treatment/prevention techniques/methods with particular regard to local parameters and recommends to supervisor introducing most applicable ones. Communication and Organizational Relationships .Daily contacts with corrosion control personnel in Fields and Das, with senior engineers/engineers for exchange of information, liaison and follow-up purposes. .Occasional contacts with personnel in Asset Units/Technical Divisions UP TO Team Leader�s level to provide specialist consultancy/and advice. .determines work methods from several existing alternatives according to professional standards and company's established policies and procedures. |

| Profile | Experience requirements 6 years experience involving protection, corrosion monitoring system and chemical corrosion inhibitors in oil or petrochemical industry of which, at least 3 years in offshore oil installation. |
