TIGO RWANDA MARKETING SERVICES MANAGER




As Marketing Services Manager Manager responsible for:
 All Tigo brand communication investments:
- Including all internal and external consumers and customers
- Efficiently using the budget and tracking performance
- Delivering results according to Tigo brand design & equity objectives
 Consultancy for category and segment managers to develop most efficient business and communication plans
 Ensuring a common language across the organization
 Analyze product/service performance and prepare market feedback report.
 Leading all Tigo consumer and market understanding research
 Leading brand financial analysis
 Consulting with category, segment managers and innovation managers and agreeing on market  and consumer research plans
 Consulting management on business impacting market trends & opportunities (competitive intelligence)
 Acquiring consumer insight information
 Creating information brief on market trends and competitive landscape
 Creating regular product development briefing
 Responsible of defining, reviewing and coordinating Research plan
 Consolidates research data and business information
 Responsible of providing the inputs needed to build product/offer feasibility study such as market segment, size of market, potential demand, price points, etc
Key Responsibilities

 Is responsible for an effective flow of information and keeping managers and employees well informed
 Is responsible for leading the teams of Brand and Consumer Understanding
 Meets and coordinates with the category managers
 Performs all managerial HR tasks in accordance with Tigo People policies
 Ensures successor planning and professional development
 Motivates his/her people
 Is responsible for own development


Manager
 Reports on brand performance
 Translates commercial strategy into action plan in cooperation with the brand specialists and the consumer understanding manager
 Ensures that departmental action plan is implemented
 Is responsible for optimal staff planning
 Determines which resources (financial, staffing and organization) and time schedules are required to achieve objectives
 Prepares budget and forecast
 Is responsible for optimal staff planning

Ambassador
 Contributes to Tigo's network(s) in own area of expertise
 Ensures that all internal and external communication is aligned with brand standards

Entrepreneur/Marketing Services
 Supervises all Brand and Communication
 Supervises all Consumer and Market Understanding activities
 Supervises and agrees business communication plans and their execution with category managers
 Supervises and agrees all media buying contract negotiations (ATL, BTL) done by the Brand Manager
 Understands the investment nature and aligns it with the business opportunities
 Defines adequate valuation and expected negotiations specs for investments
 Measures brand awareness and acts accordingly
 Maps current brand position, identifies new positioning opportunities and gives feedback to management
 Validates the brand consistency in de product pipeline
 Coordinates with Tigo people knowledge of the brand on a systemic basis
 Gives advice on customer perception about product performance to Category Managers
 Manages brand tracking
 Defines and implements brand KPI aligned with brand standards
 Participates in the creation of new products
 Is responsible for providing data or metrics to design new product pricing & commissions
 Delivers monthly brief of market trends and competitive landscape
Position Requirements

Work & Educational background

University degree, preferable in marketing, social, communication or arts
Master is a plus
Senior marketing and managerial experience
Preferably specialization in  brand management and market researchd
