Regional Manager TANROADS - LINDI operates three Weigh bridges, namely two fixed at Nangurukuruin Kilwa
District and Mingoyo in Lindi District respectively and a Mobile Weighbridge. The Regional Manager-TANROADS Lindi on behalf of the Chief Executive TAN ROADS is looking for qualified candidates to fill vacant positions available for operations of the aforesaid Weighbridges.
Key qualifications for the Shift in-Charge;
Age:
Between 35 and AO years
Educational minimum qualification:
Holder of 1st Degree in any field
Higher qualifications will be an added advantage.
Must be Computer literate (at least Advanced Certificate in Computer Application);
Must be fluent in Kiswahili and English Languages;
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen
Responsibilities
Enforcement of Road Traffic axle Load Control by the use of Weighbridge scale devices. Overall supervision of shift activities
Duties
Carrying out activities as described in the Roads Traffic (maximum Weigh of Vehicles) Regulations, 2011 and the weigh bridge operations manual.
Observe good customer care, dignity and integrity.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Manager.
