Regional Manager TANROADS - LINDI operates three Weigh bridges, namely two fixed at Nangurukuruin Kilwa
District and Mingoyo in Lindi District respectively and a Mobile Weighbridge. The Regional Manager-TANROADS Lindi on behalf of the Chief Executive TAN ROADS is looking for qualified candidates to fill vacant positions available for operations of the aforesaid Weighbridges.
Key qualifications for the Cashier;
Age:Not above 35 years of age
Educational minimum qualification: Have Ordinary Secondary Education/Advanced Secondary Education and ATEC,. NABE Stage III or equivalent
High qualifications will have additional advantages;
Must be Computer Literate (at least Advanced Certificate in Computer Application);
Must be fluent in Kiswahili and English languages;
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen
Responsibility
Enforcement of Road Traffic Axle Load Control by the use of Weighbridge Scale Devices;
Duties
Carrying out activities as described in the Roads Traffic (maximum Weigh of Vehicles) Regulations, 2011 and the weighbridge operations manual including the following:-.
Collects and banks all weighbridge charges (fees) according to the Weighbridge Report Form.
Undertakes filling and record keeping duties;
Maintains asset registers.
Reports all matters to the Shift In-Charge;
