VACANCY -PROGRAM/ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Leading Australian volunteers agency is recruiting for
Program/Administration Officer.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
*Based in the Arusha office, support the Country Manager in the
administration of the Volunteer Program for Tanzania including day to day
office management, designated financial management, information management
responsibilities and provision of day to day point of contact for
volunteers, employers and key stakeholders.

*Assist in the implementation of processes such as volunteer arrival and
orientation, assignment monitoring and evaluation and 24-hour emergency
support as well as provide ongoing support of volunteers in their
placements

*Assist in employer related activities as directed by the Country Manager

SELECTION CRITERIA:
*Bachelor Degree in relevant field, or minimum 5 years of relevant
Experience, related to Community Development, NGO Management, or
International Development.

*Able to communicate well in spoken and written English

*A high level of cross-cultural awareness

*Proven office management skills including financial and information
management

*Strong communication skills coupled with an empathic approach and the
ability to effectively and efficiently respond to a diverse range of
people issues

*Proven maturity of judgement and problem solving capability

*Sound administrative skills, including abilities with database,
spreadsheet and word-processing software packages.

*Sound organisational skills including the ability to take initiative, be
flexible in work practices, set priorities, meet deadlines and achieve
objectives.

*Understanding and commitment to organisation's vision, values and leading
strategies
