Job Title: Sales & Support Executive
Reporting to: Director

Requirements:
Academic Qualification: Diploma in Farm Mechanization or Agro Mechanization

Gender: Male

Age Range: 30 – 45

Language: Fluent in Kiswahili & English (both spoken & written)

Computer Literate: Essential; use of MS Word, Excel and Project & Internet must

Referees: 3

Personal Skills: Self motivated, hardworking, ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines, quick learner and easy to adapt to new concepts and technologies, ability to coordinate, control and organize staff effectively, good communication and presentation skills, outgoing personality, good knowledge & understanding of operational and administrative policies, practices and procedures, multitasked.

Duties & responsibilities - Sales

  • Create the permanent client base for ZBL by rendering mechanized farming solutions and providing after sales services with complete client’s satisfaction.
  • Wealth maximization of the company by achieving the targets given
  • Create a brand name of the company in Tanzania
  • Active participation in survival & growth of the company.
  • Ensure timely and adequate response to the customers for their calls.
  • Generating revenue through supply of agricultural equipments to farmers and district councils or SACCOS.
  • Overall control of the Sales function
  • Organize meetings and demos with clients in rural areas and in Dar
  • Manage relation with MOA Mechanization Department
  • Regular client visits and developing PR
  • Generating the Sales enquiry & converting into Sales,
  • Attending enquiries
  • Preparation of quotations / proforma Invoices and follow up for materialization of deals,
  • Receipt of orders and signing of contracts with the client; only the Director can sign the contract on behalf of MSL.
  • Liaison with Director for material procurement and delivery.
  • Collections follow up after supply of materials and submission of invoice
  • Build relations with the government departments, DALDOs, SMS
  • Product Placement & Pricing,
  • OEM’s Management pertaining to the line of business,
  • Ensure certification from partners is renewed on a yearly basis;
  • Preparation of monthly Report and submission to Director by 4th of the month for the previous month
  • Going on fields for demonstration and building contacts and opportunities
  • Participating in tenders and making efforts on winning projects
  • Development of SDF Brand name in the market
  • Preparing and implementing marketing strategy plan

Duties & responsibilities - Support

  • Overall control of the Engineering function
  • Manage the customer support function
  • Ensure the adequate control on manpower deployment (field officer)
  • Ensure adequate up gradation & training of technical staff.
  • Represent the company in meetings related to engineering
  • To maintain the partnership status, relationship and relevant technical skills.
  • Manage & Maintain Support centers
  • Handling warranty processes.
  • Project deployment, commissioning and management
  • Conduct quality audits
  • Inspection, diagnosis, recording and participation in repairs
  • Provision of appropriate technical advice to clients regarding care, usage and maintenance of the machineries
  • Develop quick fix procedures that help operators to reduce machine downtime
  • Monitor spare consumption
  • Identify performance indicators and include them in the service contracts for ease of monitoring and evaluation
  • Ensure adequate controls on the allocated expenses of the projects, preparation of project costs and profitability analysis
  • Review and manage schedules of AMC’s
  • Attend all calls from the customer for repairs and maintenance.
  • Arrangement for delivery of goods after repairs.
  • Prepare list of spares needed while repairing.
  • Support, configure, install & repairs of all kind equipments as allocated them based on their availability and experience.
  • Prepare quotation for spares sales/services get it approved by Director and submit to the client and do the required follow-up.
  • Ensure the achievement of set targets for services and quality
  • Ensure the achievement of the allocated AMC targets
  • Ensure that AMC and Engineering Price list are maintained.
  • Regular client visits and developing PR
  • Creating new service oriented business opportunities
  • Make sure the that time sheets are duly maintained in ERP by the Engineers, prepare Weekly Activities Report of the field Engineers for review
  • Take out monthly summary, variance analysis with monthly work plan
  • Maintain the daily activity wise time sheet
  • Present weekly reports to the Director and show performance
  • Handle the administrative issues of engineering section as and when required.
  • Follow up for payments
  • Prepare Service Orders updating application and allocate the work to respective engineers as per their availability and expertise in consultation with Director
  • Raising Purchase Requisition, Sales Order, Maintaining Daily Time Sheets in ERP
  • Handle any other work as may be allocated by the Director
