Background:
DAI is looking to work in Ethiopia to support economic growth by developing the private sector to create a business enabling environment which will help industries have access to both credit and finance. The objective is to create jobs whilst promoting green growth. A large emphasis will be supporting women and children in the marketplace. We will seek to address many issues which face Ethiopia and will look to strengthen exports, product diversification, competitiveness, productivity. In addition, we will focus on working with banks to build their capacity to provide loans and credit to emerging businesses.

Objective of the role:
We are seeking applications from highly experienced private enterprise specialists who have demonstrated success in working on programmes where they have promoted Public Private Partnership to address weaknesses in polices and institutions and have addressed market failures by innovating new business models and technologies that will benefit the poor.
