Geita Gold Mine (GGM) is situated in the Lake Victoria Gold fields of North Western Tanzania just 4kms west of Geita Town and about 120kms South of Lake Victoria, Mwanza Region.The Mine is owned and managed by a giant African Gold producing company, AnglogoldAshanti Limited.
GGM currently has a vacancy for position mentioned below to work on the Mine Site. The primary motive of this position is to provide truly innovative and integrated business solution to meet and support functions to ensure the smooth delivery that impact across all areas of GGM operations.
POSITION: NURSE – (One position)
WORKS FOR: Matron
PURPOSE: To provide professional nursing care within the scope of practice of a professional nurse.
QUALIFICATIONS: - A/O Level Secondary Education
- Diploma in Nursing
- Registration with Tanzanian Nursing and Midwifes' Councils
EXPERIENCE: Two years working experience
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Patients Care Delivery
People Management
Administration
FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES/TASKS:
To render basic nursing care in accordance with Nursing Care Plan
To perform all clinical functions
To interact well with patients and other staff whilst at the Clinic
Assist the Matron whenever required e.g. Stocktaking
Adhere to AGA Health and Safety Policy
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Conscientious worker
Must be well versed in English and Swahili (written & spoken)
Good team worker
Computer literacy will be an added advantage
