PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Provide strategic leadership to operational research, innovation and execution of all aspects of Greenfields (GF) initiative, including programming, marketing and organizational development. Facilitate mainstreaming learning and best practices from GF to all national offices and programmes in the Region.

Provide strategic leadership to operational research, innovation and execution of all aspects of Greenfields (GF) initiative, including programming, marketing and organizational development. Facilitate mainstreaming learning and best practices from GF to all national offices and programmes in the Region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide leadership to the development of conceptual framework, operational plans and execution of Green Field ADPs to effectively focus on the primary customers World Vision serves; donors and communities.
- Closely work with the directors and senior staff of National offices in selection of Greenfield sites, team leaders and staff for starting new programmes where GF approach will be used.
- Work closely with the Regional Leader to generate ideas and discuss opportunities.
- Contribute to overall strategic thinking and future planning of the Region in light of learning emerging out of Greenfields.
Operational - Constantly search for opportunities for innovation in programming, marketing, customer service and organizational development. Turn ideas into concepts, concepts into operational research and lessons learned.
- Provide full project management around the execution of Greenfield plans.
- Build on a strong foundation of community and local partner ownership in all aspects of GF.
- Ensure that from programming perspective GF maximizes World Vision's contribution to the well-being of children, meets programming effectiveness standards and builds on best practice guidance from World Vision and other sources.
- Enhance sponsorship experience by sponsors, children and communities by innovative and direct engagement between sponsors and children / communities. Leverage GF to contribute to WV partnership direction for child sponsorship.
- Ensure that the NO and SO staff are fully engaged in the development of GF and provide ongoing support.
- Manage resources required for the success of the GF.
- Provide reporting on progress to senior management.
- Ensure accurate documentation of best practices and results.
Integration - Ensure that GF as a game changer for the region is well integrated with other regional strategic initiatives such as Learning Centers, Quality Assurance and Project Management.
- Cultivate 'buy in' on the GF from key stakeholders in the partnership, by articulating the vision consistently in all communications across the partnership.
- Cultivate ownership and engagement by the SO marketing and programming personnel in GF development.
- Work closely with partnership cross functional teams (GC, SOs, RO, NOs) including providing staff function for a Partnership steering group on GF.
People - Collaborate with NO P&C functions to ensure that the best staff are recruited for GF and are provided with good level of support.
- Supervise the ADP Re-Design Lead and the RO GF Specialist Team.

- REQUIRED:
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated capacity to work with a diverse group. Experienced in developing compelling business cases – including financial investment, quantitative and qualitative metrics and ROI.

- Demonstrable credibility with key stakeholders either within WV or externally.
- Strong Cross-Cultural Communication, Facilitation, Coaching and development skills across major cultural areas.
- Bias for action and capacity to deliver efficiently and effectively. Capability in project managing multiple strategies across a complex organization and across multiple geographies.
- Strong team management capabilities with experience in indirect leadership of teams and virtual teams to achieve strategic agenda.
- Relevant field experience and understanding of the wider context within which World Vision operates.
- Clear and positive Christian faith commitment and capacity to provide leadership and guidance in this area.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally.
- University degree in Development Studies, Business or related field. A relevant Masters degree would be desirable.
PREFERRED: - Five to ten years experience in relevant fields.
