Job Title : Vice Chancellor
Requirements : The applicant should hold a PhD from accredited University and have attained a status of Professor or Associate Professor and should have outstanding academic and administrative experience at a Senior Management level in a higher education institution.
Job Description :
- Responsible to the Council for the dynamic management of the academic and administrative affairs of the University, including formulation of policy for consideration by, and implementation of the decisions of the Council;
- Be the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the University;
- Responsible for the general security and welfare of the University;
- Be an ex-official chairman of the Senate and of the governing Board of every Constituent College of the University;.
- Have such other functions as are conferred upon him by the Act, Regulations made there under, the Charter, Rules or by any other written Law.
