Reporting to the Mill Technical Coordinator , the Senior Mill Metallurgist will be responsible for leading and directing the Metallurgical function. Optimize, maintain and sustain extraction of gold, consistent with company strategic objectives, is critical to the success of this position.
The mill operates at a nominal 17,000 tpd capacity and consists of crushing, grinding, flotation, cyanide leaching and gold recovery in two separate carbon-in-leach ("CIL") circuits with final gold recovery accomplished by electro winning and refining. Expertise in mineral processing, particularly in grinding and sulfide flotation techniques is essential.
