Job: Tourism Specialist - Tanzania
Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking a Tourism Specialist for a short-term assignment on the Cluster Competitiveness Program (CCP) in Tanzania.

The Specialist will conduct training of trainer (TOT) programs on Professional Guiding and Tour Management.
Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field with background in private sector development in the travel and hospitality industry

Experience as tour guide/operator, including experience with sand and beach products in numerous operating environments, but particularly on the African continent

Extensive knowledge of assessment tools to diagnose, design and provide customized technical assistance to improve methodologies in private sector associations

Demonstrated ability to develop an effective training curriculum and deliver TOT

Must have demonstrated skills in presenting interactive training to adult participants

Possess strong facilitation, organizational, and presentation skills

Fluency in English required.
