Victoria Beckham gave birth to a daughter on Sunday and they've called her Harper Seven, David announced on Facebook. Becks added that Posh is "doing really well" and that their three boys are "delighted." We're sooo excited to now have all the details, but we definitely weren't expecting a number to feature in her name!
So what about this name, then? A source told The Sun that there's no hidden meaning behind Harper, it was simply chosen because of its "lovely sound." Seven, on the other hand, has various reasons behind it, including the fact that she was born in the seventh month around 7am. Interestingly, the couple also see it as a "lucky and spiritual number" — Becks wore the number for Man Utd and England, after all.
It is also reported that David cried with happiness as Harper was born *sighs* and their baby really looks like VB when she was a child.
Messages of congratulations have poured in to the Beckhams, with Prince William and Kate Middleton sending their best wishes (via text message, apparently!) and Victoria's Spice Girl pals tweeting their love. Emma Bunton sent a "big kiss" and Mel B was excited for another "Spice baby" but wished it was her!
We can't wait to see their new arrival and watch Harper grow (dressed in pink, natch) over the years...
