Key Responsibilities:   Assists TTCL staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
2. Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
3. Works with Information Technology staff to determine and resolve problems received from clients, train and orients other TTCL staff on use of hardware and software
4. Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems.
5. Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases and Orders computer supplies.
Key Qualifications/
Experiences/ Skills:    Advanced Diploma in Computer Technology or equivalent in relevant discipline
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of training users in applications and operating system fundamentals and writing basic documentation.
• Comfortable with most aspects of operating system administration; for example, system installation and configuration, printer systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software.
• Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands basic routing and TCP/IP concepts.
• High skill with most operating system, diagnostic commands/utilities with Good understanding of computer hardware.

Monitor performance of all application systems, maintain reference data of all application and ensure smooth flow of all inputs for all Business Application Systems

Key Responsibilities:   1. Maintain Reference data of all Application System, user profile, privileges and access rights of all application Systems in accordance to the laid down procedures.
2. Monitor performance of all application and ensure smooth running of all Business Application Systems
3. Monitoring running application and Smooth and roll out of new Versions of Business application systems
4. Ensure the smooth flow of all inputs and maintain Application change log for all Business Application Systems
5. Keep management appraised on potential risks and provide warning to users before service is interrupted
Key Qualifications/
Experiences/ Skills:    • University Degree in Computer science/ Electronics Or equivalent qualification
• At least three (3) years experience in IT Operations in reputable organization
• Knowledge in Data Base and Linux/Unix Certifications are an Added Advantage
• Conversant with SQL/PLSQL Language
• User level knowledge on Unix/Linux OS
• Stress tolerant, practical, emotional control, integrity, logistical, and Able to work without supervision with good judgement.

Key Responsibilities:   1. Perform risk assessments and execute tests of computer systems to ensure functioning of security measures.
2. Document computer security and emergency measures, policies, procedures, and tests. Emergency measures should address the areas of business continuity as well as disaster recovery.
3. Operate the corporate Anti Virus Policy, including; the tools that are used to enforce it, deployment of the antivirus solution nationwide, outbreak management and version control.
4. Deploy and manage effective Anti Intrusion systems. Monitor intrusion attempts and recommend appropriate measures to be taken against the offenders. Work with others to periodically test the strength of deployed systems.
5. Develop plans to safeguard computer systems, train users and promote security awareness in order to protect TTCL against software piracy inside and outside the organization.
Key Qualifications/
Experiences/ Skills:    • University Degree in computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• At least three years experience in ICT Operations
• Knowledge on major server operating systems specifically Microsoft, Linux or UNIX
• Networking knowledge preferably Microsoft and Cisco networking
• Database knowledge specifically SQL or oracle

3. Expansion and maintenance of WAN by making sure that all network nodes are up and running smoothly.
4. Allocating Network Resources by constantly monitoring the network performance and rearrange the network nodes.
5. Management and Maintenance of the PABX System and ensure logical protection.
6. Developing, planning and maintaining the Disaster Recovering and perform Rehearse contingence plans.
Key Qualifications/

• Microsoft Infrastructure Certification
• CISCO Certification.

3. Prepare detailed technical specifications and bill of quantities for Technical Project and participate in tender evaluation and negotiation.
4. Prepare estimated costs as input to the Business Cases and development budget
5. Prepare detailed project plans including technical solution, estimated costs, resources and timeframe
6. Support establishment of proper planning tools for achievement of quality planning process for switching and data network.
Key Qualifications/
Experiences/ Skills:    • University degree in electrical/electronic communications engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions
• Three (3) years experience with Switching and data Systems
• Good analytical skills with ability to consider different possibilities and develop optimized Switching and data Systems Network solutions, able to work without supervision with good judgement and to work under pressure.
