Our client a large well established public sector institution in the transport industry wishes to fill immediately two senior positions in its Directorate of Finance
The insurance officer is responsible for:
• Processing insurance cover for the organization’s assets
• Human resources and legal liabilities
• Reporting accident cases to insurance brokers
• Ensuring timely and p and proper documentation of such cases
• Handling insurance claims
• Co-ordinating witnesses of insurance court cases
• Updating the management on insurance cases in the market
• Making follow up with brokers
• Constantly reviewing the organization’s insurance policy
• Liaising with insurance companies agents and brokers and monitoring submission of premiums
Qualifications:
Post graduate diploma in insurance or a degree in accounting/finance plus three years relevant working experience
