The core function of the Internal audits of CARE Tanzania head office, program offices and sub-recipient offices to review Its activities, financial systems, procurement systems, administrative processes, property management, transport and other Country Office processes to determine the accountability and assess the reliability of the control systems as a whole and to identify the measures needed to ensure that the systems are functioning at the desired levels of efficiency and effectiveness. The Internal Auditor position is to adopt risk based audit methodology in planning and executing those audit assignments.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
• B.A. degree or Advance Diploma in Accounting.
• 3 years of work experience in areas of financial accounting and internal/external auditing
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
ProfiCient in use of MS word, excel, access, etc.)
Fluency in English language and written communication and report writing; Ability to work effectively with others at all levels;
• Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality, sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, participatory approach and sustainable development,
• Demonstrated analytical ability
• Effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrate skills in pro-active problem solving
