EMPLOYMENT STATUS 
Full Time Regular 

ABOUT THIS JOB 
Baker Hughes is currently looking for equipment AMO technicians to join our team in Tanzania. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Assemble complex components in accordance with engineering drawings, tech units and manuals
  • Adhere to work instructions, procedures, processes and documentation relating to the assembly department
  • Apply settings, calibration and maintenance of assembly tools
  • Maintain, test and assemble product/tools/sub-assemblies for operations.
  • Work to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices.
  • Complete tool inspections in accordance with engineering drawings.
  • Data entry database to input and access the necessary maintenance data records.
  • Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS 
  • Technical Diploma, Associates degree in a mechanical field or a minimum of 2 years relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield or automotive)
  • General technical knowledge in fluid power technology and mechanical devises.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Mechanically orientated
  • Functional testing skills, computer literate and basic skills in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work safely and to ensure the safety of others
  • Oilfield Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • General technical knowledge in fluid power technology and mechanical devises.
  • Basic machining and welding experience.
