World Vision Tanzania is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following position of Zonal People and Culture Officer Reports to: Zonal Manager
Location: Dodoma
Purpose of the position:
To coordinate and support all Human resources and administration functions to enhance efficient and effective service delivery necessary to maintain a healthy People & culture environment, to all stakeholders at the zonal level in line with WVT policies, producers and country labour laws.
Major Responsibilities
Recruitment: Facilitate recruitment and selection process of program staff within the zone according to WV rules and procedures.
Ensure that all new staff signing and filling all P&C forms (Police Background checks, medical examination, Disclosure form/conflict of interest, Child protection, Employee Code of conduct, Core values, mission, vision & declaration on employee manual, confidentiality forms)
Compensation and Benefits: Facilitate staff benefits/compensations as per WVT policies and procedures
Performance management: Coordinate and Facilitate staff training, performance agreement and annual performance appraisal for all program staff.
Staff Development: Ensure Staff development policy and plans are developed and implemented.
Human Resources Information: Ensure that all staff information are properly kept, updated and confidentiality is maintained in the databases.
Staff Contracts Management: Ensure timely preparation of all program staff employment contracts as per Employee Manual.
Industrial Relations: Maintain an effective negotiation process and harmonious employee/employer relationship within the zone. Effective management of disciplinary and grievance issues, and effective communication processes
P&C Quality Assurance : Provide analysis to all measurable performance within the zone
Minimum Qualification required: BA in Human Resources, Public Administration or related field Human Resources
Experience: Three years in Human Resources
Preferred: MA Human Resources, Public Administration, MBA, or related field Human Resources, MPA HRM (Public Administration)
Other Technical Skills & Abilities:
Good organizational, problem solving and assertiveness skills.
Good interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
