European Management Solutions is in the process of identifying 1 expert for the EC tender" Trade and Agriculture Support Programme, Phase II (TASP II) Call for Proposals for Horticulture Component Preparation of the Guidelines to the Applicants & Evaluation of Project Proposals (EMS 5259)".

Global objective:
The overall objective of the assignment is to support the Contracting Authority (National Authorising Officer of the EDF) and the Ministry of Agriculture Food Security and Cooperatives to design the guidelines for applicants (Restricted Call for Proposals) and evaluate the concept notes as well as the full proposals.

 

Required qualifications:

• Master degree in Rural Development, Agriculture, or equivalent
• Specialized in horticulture activities in Sub Saharan Africa
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work with farmer groups or communities
• Familiar with the Tanzanian socio-economic context and strong knowledge of Tanzanian institutions, in the field of agriculture
• At least 3 years work experience in the field of horticulture
• Language: Kiswahili + English
