Project Manager- Tanzania
My client is a multi discipline engineering construction firm who are currently expanding throughout Africa, in particular Tanzania. The latest project is for a gas corporation and as such they are looking to bring on board a new team of people, one of which is will be a project manager. The project will involve onshore construction and instillation of both civil engineering as ell as mechanical and electrical upgrades.
The day to day activities of the candidate will include:
• Overseeing the project in its entirety
• Working in a remote area
• Working to international gas safety standards.
• Managing a multi discipline team
• Working to a fast track schedule
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience managing multi-discipline works on a ‘Fast track basis’
• Able to multi-task and lead various disciplines, i.e Build, Mechanical and electrical
• Experience working to international safety standards within an operational facility.
• Experience working in Africa, but this is not essential.
